NIELSONS, INC. - CRAIG PIT (Continued)

required and stockpiled for later use. As areas of the pit are
worked out, new areas will be stripped and the topsoil placed on
worked out areas.
It is expected that approximately fifteen percent (15"b) of the
pit run material will be wasted in order to meet specifications. This
refuse will be placed back in the pit area before topsoil is placed.
The resulting land surface will then be fertilized and seeded
per Soil Conservation Service recommmendations with the objective
of dry land pasture. The property owner will be consulted at the
time of reclamation, but at this date, is in agreement with the
proposed plan.
EXHIBIT "H" - ESTIMATED COST OF RECLAMATION h ~-1`1
level ridges and slope pit sides ....... 800.0 :J
~~ ~~
Place Topsoil ...........................$1 6 .00 // `,
Reseed Area .............................$ 2 .00
*Total ..................................$3285. 0
Amount for one year - based on 3.5 Acre reclaimed.
EXHIBIT "J" - SURFACE OWNERS
William H. & Helen Craig, Rt. 2, Box 9 - Durango, Colorado 81301
BIT K - CURRENT MINING PERMI75 BY NIELSONS.
