<br />EXHIBIT C <br />Mining Plan <br />1. Operational dates are approximately April 15th to November <br />15th, on a yearly basis. <br />2. Topsoil will be replaced to an approximate depth of 6 to <br />8 inches. Topsoil will beyremoved by rubber-tire loader <br />and stockpiled on the southeast corner of the permit area. <br />Supplemental topsoil will be added to achieve the desired <br />depth. If necessary, all stockpiles will be sealed to <br />prevent eroision, according to Soil Conservation Service <br />recommendations. <br />3. No over burden or wasterockis expected. Test holes dug <br />by a backhoe indicate only topsoil and gravel exist <br />in the permit area. <br />4. Thickness of deposit is unknown at the time. Expected <br />thickness is approximately 20 feet. <br />5. One access road to the permit site is an old road used <br />for ranch work ie. fence repairs, checking livestock, <br />ect.. Gravel and sand will be extracted with a rubber- <br />tire loader and loaded on the truck by same machine. <br />A small crusher may be used if community demand increases. <br />The crushing operation is anticipated to be no more than <br />500 tons per week. <br />6. Surface disturbances will be limited to approximately <br />500 feet by 500 feet. at one time. <br />7. The one road present is approximately 20 feet wide with <br />drainage ditches. The road will be resurfaced with <br />gravel at the beginning of operations. Maintenance will <br />be done with a road grader provided by applicant. <br />8. No ground or surface water will be used or affected by <br />this operation. <br />11. If community demand increases a small crusher may be used- <br />set up on the NW corner will not interfere with normal <br />pit operations. Demand is not expected to be greater than <br />500 tons per week. No water is used in this small process <br />and the crusher would be set up on the permit site. <br />
