BUILDING

DE5IGNER
Dan Hernandes
Mined Land Reclamation
1313 Sherman, Room 423
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Hernandes:

~II III~II~I~~~~I ~II
~~~~~~ ~~
SFP 221989
~ECLpM,MP ~~?~~~~et4W
4955 HALE PFaI.
DESIVER, CO 80220
September 16, 1988
This letter written on behalf and support of Harry Covey's
mining operations in Sunshine Canyon, Boulder County,
Colorado, is long over due as I have been in and out of the
hospital with kidney failure and couldn't think of much else.
I have known Harry Covey long enough to know without any doubt
that he is a very fine, honorable, and considerate person who
will perform excellently, exactly as he says he will in any
undertaking. Though I don't know his partner, his brother
Ken, as well, I am certain he is of equally fine character.
Harry's dream of mining the Phil Sheridan and his other patent
claims goes back many years. It is not a venture that comes
lightly. He has put exhaustive thought into this venture. He
knows what he is doing and he will qet the job done. I could
write several pages about this man, all good - none bad. I
would bet my life that he will perform equal to or above your
expectations.
I think it is important that you know that his love of mining
is coupled with an uncanny sixth sense for the minerals of
this region and an in depth geological knowledge of Sunshine
Canyon. Along with this is the trained eye of a professional
photographer who loves and appreciates the beauty of our land.
To me he is a valued friend and trusted consultant on my
mining operations. To the people of Colorado he will be a
valued asset to further the much needed enterprise of the
small miner, doing his project hopefully in peace and
tranquility. We greatly need this type of operation in
Colorado, and it should be encouraged in every way. It may be
the best or only way that the valuable mineral resources of
our state can be extracted.
