located in the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 1, Township
6 South, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., Jefferson County,
Colorado, more particularly described as being located at
a point which is 3,322.59 feet South from the Northeast
corner of said Section 1 and thence West at right angles
for 2,346.05 feet. Water diverted at the intake will be
transported through existing facilities of the Nevada
Ditch and Last Chance Ditch No. 2.

c. Diversion to Storage and Subseavent
A~~lication. Applicant claims the right to divert the Water
Rights into the following storage facilities, by direct
diversion or by the right of substitution and exchange listed
in Section II below, for subsequent year round municipal uses.
i. Kiewit Gravel Pits, located in the
SW 1/4 of Section 31, Township 5 South,
Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Arapahoe
County, Colorado.
ii. Kiowa Storage Reservoirs No. 1, No. 2
and No. 3, to be located in Sections 17,
19 and 20, Township 2 South, Range 67
West, Adams County, Colorado.
iii. Kiowa Storage Reservoirs No. 4 and
No. 5, to be located in Sections 2 and
3, Township 2 South, Range 67 West,
Adams County, Colorado.
6. Historic Use. The Water Rights described in
paragraph 3 were historically used to irrigate land in Adams
