HART <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY <br />~~ <br />Please find enclosed a copy of proposed Special Use Permit No. 1998-041 for your review and <br />comment. The applicant is requesting a special use permit to allow for Natural Deposits, <br />Extraction, and Processing for a sand and gravel mine on a 160-acre pazcel of land they have <br />leased from Anthony J. and Dorothy J. Cesar in an A-l, Agricultural (minimum 40 acres) Zone <br />District. The property is located along the south side of St. Charles Road begimring <br />approximately .4 miles south of Nicholson Road and extending along the south side of St. <br />Charles Road for approximately 1.48 miles. The property is legally described as all that part of <br />the NE1/4 SE1/4, SW1/4 SE1/4, NW1/4 SE1/4 and SEl/4 NE1/4 lying south of St. Charles Road <br />within Section 21, Township 21 S, Range 63 W, 6'h P.M.; along with all that part of the NE1/4 <br />NW 1/4, NW I/4 NW 1/4, and SW 1/4 NW 1/4 lying south of St. Charles Road within Section 22, <br />Township 21 S, Range 63 W, 6'" P.M. <br />The Pueblo County Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing regarding <br />Special Use Permit 1998-041 on January 26, 1999. Please provide any comments you may have <br />to this office by January 15, 1999.
