<br />1'ho Las .\nunas series consists of nearly level, limy,
<br />sh~on~l ~ sa.liue. soils th:•tt formed in stratified loamy and
<br />smuly alluciuni. 't'hese soils arc in lo+v are.•ts along the

<br />In a typical profile t.lic surface layer is limy loam or
<br />Bauch- lrun about 10 inchesthick. It is grayish brown and
<br />bas a fro• vrllo+cish-brown mottles in the lower part.. The
<br />subsoil is ]name sand stratified with lenses of sandy loam

<br />The Limon series consists rat nearly level, drep, sn
<br />soils that formed in limy material derived mainly fl
<br />shale. These soils are on old tert•aceS and flood plain
<br />the northwestern and centrnl parts of tho county.
<br />In a typical profile the surfaco layer is grayish-br,
<br />and brown clay abort 4 inches thick. Below this, t.
<br />depth of about 36 inches, is clay or silty clay. The uPl
