<br />Wildlife <br />All activities will be planned considering the safety and protection of wildlife on the property. <br />Some species may be temporarily displaced by the mining activities. They are expected to re- <br />establish with no difficulty after the reclamation has been completed. Bald Eagles are known to <br />roost and feed along [he South Platte River during the winter months. The mining will not <br />disturb the existing trees and the wildlife habitat along the South Platte River. <br />Water <br />Disturbance of the area will be done to minimize the effect on the prevailing hydraulic balance as <br />follows: <br />a) The operator shall comply with all applicable Colorado water laws. <br />b) The operator shall comply with all applicable Federal and State water quality laws <br />and regulations. <br />c) The operator shall comply with all Federal and State Requirements for dredge and <br />fill.
