<br />DRAINAGE REPORT <br />Method of Calculating Runoff <br />I. The drainage areas were measured with a planemeter. <br />2. Rate of discharge was obtained from Department of Agriculture Soil <br />Conservation Service Nomograph ES-1027. This graph is for steep <br />slopes with a CN of 65. <br />3. The rainfall data was taken from isopluvial maps of Colorado prepared <br />by the Weather Bureau special studies branch. <br />4. Culvert sizes were determined from Figure 10-9 of the Drainage Criteria <br />Manual prepared for the Denver Regional Council of Governments. <br />General <br />The drainage areas are small, except for Russell Gulch. The majority of <br />th,e culverts ore the minimum size, i.e. 15" diameter. <br />72" culverts will be required on Russell Gulch. The final design of the <br />road will fix the exact location of these structures. <br /> <br />SHEET 3 <br />
