Walther <br />1225 $, 7th St. Executive Director <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 / Ronald w. cottony <br />Acing Division Director <br />Re: Receipt of 112 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Application, Gilsonite Gravel Pit, <br />File No. M-2002-111' <br />Dear Mr. Elam: <br />On October 28, 2002, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 112 Construction Materials <br />Reclamation Pem3it application for the Gilsonite Gravel Pit, which is located in Mesa County. All comment and <br />review periods began on October 28, 2002. The decision date for your application is scheduled for 7anuary 27, <br />2003. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality <br />of the proposed mining operation once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks. Immediately after the first <br />publication, mail a copy of the notice to all owners of record of surface and mineral rights, holders of any recorded <br />easements, and all owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof of <br />notice and mailings, such as Certified Mail - Retlun Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology prior to the decision date.
