Barry, I I I, <br />Director <br />We have revietied the restatement of the Pikeview Quarry application (File <br />X77-211) presented for Castle Concrete. We have approached the review <br />as if this 1•~ere a new application to ensure a thorough analysis. 4:e <br />believe this approach is necessary so that by the March 26, 1980 Board <br />meeting we will be able to go before the Board with our findings and <br />receive final action. We have identified the following items which need <br />further clarification, restatement, or analysis before we can consider <br />the application adequate. They should be addressed by you using the most <br />specific terms possible. <br />A. Application <br />1) The application forms must have Mr. Batley's signature. <br />Please send us 4 copies of the application. <br />B. Exhibit C - Pre - Mining and Mining Plan Map <br />1) Please show the percent and type of vegetation <br />presently covering the undisturbed affected lands. See Rule <br />2.12(3)e. <br />2) Please state who owns the land for the access road area. <br />3) The statement, "Mining operation will have no affect on <br />surface or groundwater systems" appears incorrect. See <br />comments on Exhibit G. <br />4) The limits of operation go outside of the boundary <br />line in several places; please explain. a'o,.~sk s-e,.v;ce <br />C.
