• <br />~IIIII~II~II~~~~III <br />999 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />LeEal Description and Location Map <br />(Section 6.3.1) <br />(1) LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />Brown Derby #4 Mining Claim <br />The Applicant owns the Brown Derby #4 unpatented lode mining claim. The claim is identified <br />by U.S. Bureau of Land Management Colorado Mining Claim Serial Nos. 250337, and lies <br />within the northwest quarter of [he northeast quarter of Section 3, Township 49 North, Range 3 <br />East, New Mexico Principal Meridian. <br />Brown Derby Mine <br />The Applicant's Brown Derby Mine is located wholly within [he boundaries of the Brown Derby <br />#4 mining claim. <br />Access <br />The Brown Derby Miue may be reached by travelling approximately six miles northeast of <br />Parlin, Colorado, on Highway 162. North of the Indian Head landmark, an existing access road <br />heads east from Highway 162. The road briefly crosses two parcels of private land before <br />crossing Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") land. The road then briefly crosses United <br />States Forest Service ("USFS") lands in Section 34, Township 50 North, Range 3 East, New <br />Mexico Principal Meridian. The road returns to BLM land in Section 3, Township 49 North, <br />Range 3 East before reaching the Brown Derby Mine. The access road is approximately two <br />miles in length from Highway 162 to the Brown Derby Mine. The exact location of the access <br />road is shown on the Location Map included in this Exhibit A, and further information <br />concerning Applicant's access to the Brown Derby Mine is included in Exhibit G-Source of <br />Legal Right to Enter. <br />The Affected Lands <br />The affected lands for which this Limited Itnpact Operation (110(2)) Reclamation Permit <br />Application Form is submitted lie entirely within [he boundaries of the Brown Derby #4 claim, <br />and comprise a total of one-half acre, more or less. The boundary of the affected lands is shown <br />on Exhibit E -Map. The northwest comer of [he affected lands is approximately 1000 feet east <br />and 1000 feet south of the northwest comer of the northeast quarter of Section 3, Township 49 <br />North, Range 3 East, New Mexico Principal Meridian. The location of the affected lands is <br />shown on the Location Map included in this Exhibit A. Applicant intends to mark the <br />boundaries of the affected lands with monuments or other markers in accordance with Rule 3, <br />Section 3.1.12 (2). <br />Exhibit A - I <br />
