L J <br />S~ormwatn Managnnan Plan <br />Kaiser Steel Resources will submit its discharge monitoring reports to the agencies listed <br />here: <br />Colorado Department of Health <br />Water Quality Control Division <br />Permits and Enforcement Section <br />4300 Cherry Creek Drive South <br />Denver, Colorado 80220 <br />U.S. Environmental Protection Agency <br />Water Management Division <br />NPDES Branch 8WM-C <br />999 18th Street, Suite 500 <br />Denver, Colorado 80202-2466 <br />Kaiser Steel Resources will also continue to provide the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology a copy of water quality monitoring reports under its existing NPDES Permit. <br />Sampling and Analysis Methodology <br />• Kaiser Steel Resources will use analysis and sampling methods conforming to Colorado <br />Regulations for Effluent Limitations (10.1.5) and to 40 CFR Part 136. <br />Records <br />• <br />Upon request of the Colorado Department of Health, Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology or U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Kaiser Steel Resources will make <br />available records pertaining to the implementation of the SWMP for the Reclaimed <br />Colorado Coal Mine No. 1. The records will be kept in a log. These records will be <br />established and maintained by Kaiser Steel Resources at the County Courthouse in <br />Walsenburg, Colorado. <br />Best Management Practices <br />Kaiser Steel Resources will coordinate applicable Best Management Practices at its <br />Reclaimed Colorado Coal Mine No. 1 to reduce or eliminate pollutants entering waters of <br />the U.S. and the State of Colorado. <br />5 <br />
