The surface of the proposed permit area is owned by Salt Creek <br />Mining Company, the United States and the Denver and Rio Grande <br />Western Railroad Company. The proposed date of commencement of <br />the operation is immediately. The proposed postmining use of <br />the affected land at the mine site is a return to rangeland and <br />wildlife habitat. The proposed postmining use of the affected <br />land at the rail loadout site is a return to use as a rail load- <br />ing facility. A copy of the application is available for public <br />inspection at the office of the County Clerk, Garfield County <br />Courthouse, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and the office of the <br />County Clerk, Mesa County Courthouse, Grand Junction, Colorado. <br />Written comments, objections or requests for an informal con- <br />ference on the application may be submitted to, and additional <br />information obtained from, the Mined Land Reclamation Division, <br />Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203 (303) <br />866-3567. Written comments, objections or requests for an in- <br />formal conference must be filed at the Division by 5:00 P.M., <br />on (month, day, year - 30 days after the last day of the four <br />consecutive weeks of publication). <br /> <br />
