Dear Sir/Madame:
This Letter is to inform you of the proposed specifics of the 83rd Joint
Venture mining operation northwest of Greeley in Section 35, Township 6
North, Range 66 West, Weld County, Colorado. This property is adjacent to
your property. Included with this letter are copies of the mining plan maps
(Exhibit C).
The mining activities as proposed will not adversely affect the stability of
your structures. The operator will maintain a 50 foot setback (minimum) from
your property line to the edge of the mining and a 200 foot setback from your
house. The final slope of the mining pit will be 38:1V. Any damages to
structures on your property caused by mining activities will be repaired or
compensated for by the operator.
Please acknowledge your understanding of these facts by countersigning below
and forwarding one copy of the signed page to our firm. We have enclosed a
self addressed, stamped envelope for your convenience in returnittg the signed
form. As required by the Kined Land Reclamation Act, a copy of this letter
will be included in our State mining application.
