III IIIIII'IIIIII'II Doc Date:12/11/2001
sss
. SECTION 6.0 Livestock Pond Construction Through 1989 and
Proposed Approximate Locations for 1990.
This correspondence is to update the CMLRD on the final locations of constructed
livestock ponds at Trapper Mine through 1989 and the approximate locations for
proposed pond constuction in 1990 (see attached map). The aversge pond density on
Trapper reclaim areas will not exceed one pond per ten acres og drainage area as
required in our hermit. The attached Table 1 describes as-built pond density in associ-
attonwith specific drainage areas.
The enclosed map also shows 43 additional ponds that may be constructed by Trapper to
accommodate the optimum density for livestock/wildlife use on the area. However in
1990, ten ponds are proposed for construction and will be completed by October 31st.
Table 2 describes the approximate drainage area per pond following 1990 construction.
As the case with all previous livestock/wildlife pond construction, future pond
construction will meet or exceed state and federal standards andlor specifications. All
constructed ponds have been inspected by the SCS and forwarded to the Divison via our
annual report.
WSH/jsb
•
