Curtiss/Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Please consider this Setter as written response to your <br />adequacy review questions in your letter dated April 14, 1995. <br />~. The estimated dates that mining will begin will be as soon <br />ae tha proposed pit is permitted and the mining will end <br />xhcn the material supply is exhausted or a 5 year ending <br />date. <br />/2. Thcrc will be no direct drainage from tha affected area <br />either in to Beast Twin Wash or West Txin wash. There <br />will be no need for either berms or sediment ponds. <br />,l.3. The average minimum topsoil thickness wilt be 6", although <br />there are several areas at this site that x111 be rockfaced. <br />We x111 replace all available topsoil or growth medium during <br />the reclamation process. We rill follow the guide]ines of <br />the Moffat County Soil Conservation District. <br />ji: Approximately Eft. thickness of gravPt deposit x111 be <br />mined..in this area.. We will regrade all slopes t.o arkradiant of 3H:1V or flatter <br />and continue the reclamation process according to the Moffat <br />County Soil Conservation District and the Division of Minerals <br />~5.
