The precipitation amounts a[ the Seneca II-Y Mine permit <br />area for the 10-year and 25-year storms were obtained from gOAA Precipitation Frequency <br />Atlas Precipitation - freauencv Atlas of the Yestern States - Volume II - Colorado, 1973. <br />A standard SCS Type II storm was utilized for each analysis. <br />Unit Hydropreoh end Surface Condition. The SEDCAD computer program provides three unit <br />hydrograph shapes to choose from in determining the runoff characteristics of a watershed. <br />The disturbed hydrograph (FAST) was used to generate a worst case hydrograph. <br />Time of Concentration. The time of concentration, tc, is defined es the time required for <br />water to flow from the hydraulically moat remote point in the watershed to the watershed <br />outlet. <br />The time of concentration for Pond 009 was calculated using the following equation • <br />(Barfield et el., 1983). <br />13-SA-4 <br />
