RE: Submittal for Construction Materials (112) Operation Reclamation Application
for the Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix Inc. - Franciscotti Pit #1, Huerfano County,
Colorado. File # M - 2007- 006; 112 -Revisions to the Application Form (Page 1),
Exhibit A and Map Exhibits C and F to Include Additional 32 Acres Contained in
Huskin Compatry Permits M-1997-042 and M-1998-OSl
Mr. Keffelew:
In reference to our conversation on April t0, 2007 during your site inspection and
subsequent telephone call on 4/11/07, please find below and attached revisions to be
incorporated into the abovementioned 112 Permit Application. The attached revisions
to Page 1 of the Application Fotm (282 acres), Exhibit A (site description), and the
changes to the Map Exhibits C and F have already been made by myself after our
meeting on 4/11 /2007 to the file copy placed for public review at the Huerfano County
Cletks Office.
Revisions/Additions to the DRM&S - 112 Application M-2007-006
1. The primary revision is to include the 32 acres in the current Huskin 111 Permit
Areas as parr of the proposed Fremont Paving Perxnit Area. This will result in a
total permit area of 282 acres rather than 250 acres. As you know I have sent a
Release Document for the 111 Permits to Huskul Company via Mr. Toe
Gagliano. A copy of the executed document will be forwarded to you ASAP.
The inclusion of the 111 Areas would allow Fremont Paving access to the REJECT
PILE, simplify current and possible future DRM&S permitting processes and fulfill
the land owners desire to either remove or reclaim the REJECT PILE which is part
of the M-1997-042 reclamation bond. The material (pile) was generated from
operations in the M-1998-081 permit and 4/Sths of the pile is located within the
proposed Fremont Phase 1 Area. The un-mined areas that remain in the M-1998-081
Permit Axea can also be accessed without future amendments or permit applications.
