Brown Red Jasper Granite Company Star Route 2246 Woodland Park, Colorado 80863 • Re: Red Jasper Granite Quarry; Our File Number 82-200 `Z -, Dear Mr. Brown: Today, the t•tined Land Reclamation Board approved your application for a limited impact mining and reclamation permit for the above captioned operation and set the amount of the financial warranty at $5,000.00. This approval was made contingent upon finalization of your sales contract for the granite with the Bureau of Land Management. On Monday, October 25, 1982, your consultant, D1r William R. Beavers, and I discussed the few remaining concerns that our staff had with your application. We agreed on the resolution of these concerns and I incorporated this agree- ment into my presentation of your application to our Board. Dfr. Beavers assured me that he would discuss these items with you and submit these answers to my final questions within the next few days, Our Division has received and approved the financial warranty for this opera- tion. In approving this warranty, I added the following required legal de- scription to page 10 as "Exhibit A": "Part of the NWn of the NE% of the NWZ of Section 3, Township 15 South, Range 71 West of the 6th P.PI., Teller County, Colorado." Unless I hear otherwise from you, I will assume that this addition is satisfactory to }you. To date, I have not received the performance warranty that must accompany the financial warranty. However, Ptr. Beavers has been sent a copy of this form. The legal description (as given above) should be added to this form as "Exhibit A," as well.
