Simon: <br />On August 4, 1981, the Oivlsion received your letter objecting to the <br />above referenced operation. A copy of that letter was sent to the <br />operator to try and resolve the issue. <br />iii iiiiiiiiiiiuiii <br />999 <br />At the September 23, 1981 Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting, the Board <br />approved the operator's request to indefinitely continue consideration of <br />this permit application. The reason for the continuance was to allow the <br />operator additional time to work with the city (Lakewood) and county <br />(Jefferson) to resolve some Issues over compliance with zoning <br />regulations. <br />Recently, these zoning related issues were resolved resulting in the <br />reactivation of this permit application. To be in compliance with the <br />current zoning regulations, a revised permit application was submitted on <br />August 26, 1981. The most substantial change to the application is the <br />reduction of permitted acreage from 280.25 acres to 131.51 acres. With <br />the reduction of acreage to be permitted, primarily on the east and south <br />sides, your land (as identified on the 1981 application) is no longer <br />~ adjacent to this operation.
