This
recommendation is consistent with the mining plan that has been submitted for the
operation. In so doing, this operation will not adversely affect the stability
oP any significant, valuable or man-made structure within two hundred feet of the
affected land.
As depicted on the Mining Plan Map, a haul road will be constructed along the
north portion of the property. This road will be paved with asphalt in the
interest of controlling fugitive dust from the road during hauling. The roadway
will be 30 feet wide and 1000 feet long. This road will be left in place after
completion of mining to serve as access for the area in the south-east corner of
the property that will not be mined.
A truck scale will be placed in the alignment of the haul road at a location 900
feet east of Highway 550. Eventhough the scale is portable, it will be situated
on a concrete foundation that will be 70 feet long, 10 feet wide and 3 feet high.
A mobile office trailer will be located ad~aeent to the scale.
United Companies d Mesa County, fnc.
