Mined Land Reclamation Board
RE: Your File No. 78-210
Page 2
October 13, 1978
Project No. 111-781
or adjacent to the river.
The other modification was to breakdown Area 8 into two phases (8A and 86).
This area was twice as large as the other areas being mined at any one time
and did not fit Mr. Geisert's general plan of size of operation at any one
time.
Attached is a revised Table of Site Disturbance taking into consideration
the above corrections and modifications. We have applied the reclamation
cost factors of $1100.00/Acre for Major disturbance areas, $450.00/Acre for
Moderate Disturbance areas, and $200.00/Acre for Minor disturbance areas and
find that the maximum reclamation costs (Bond) would be just under $10,000.00
and would occur almost equally in the first three phases.
We would appreciate your review of this matter and processing the amount of
the Bond required back through the Board or as necessary.
Please advise us as soon as possible as Mr. Geisert's committments require
very prompt action to proceed with getting this gravel pit into operation.
Respectfully, w B• M~ ~ •~.
McRae & Short, Inc. ~Q,~~~~sreRFO Qs"
~ 6616
~ ~c ~~
erald B.
