Year Twelve thru 9lxteen
• Evaluation of the test plot will be completed and a determination
of the results will be compiled in cooperation with the Mined Land
Reclamation Board and Colorado State University. Results of this
study will be considered for incorporation into the reclamation
plan and further revegetation. Sandstone overburden will be back-
Filled into areas VIII, IX and X to a depth of 2' to 15'. Areas
3 A, B and C will be leveled and contoured to a slope of no more than
2 to 1 with the slope in an easterly direction close to existing
terrian. The entire area will be completed as to revegetation of
the overburden material using Bittergrass, Mountain mahogany, Rabbit
brush, Indian ricegrase and sand dropseed. The western or upper
. area will not be entirely covered with overburden as it will be
impractical to obtain coverage of that area with existing or
.~ proposed equipment. This area will begin at the top of the hogback
.
and continue 50' to 100' downslop where it will meet the sandstone
overburden. Area I, II and IV will be leveled, contoured to less
then 2 to 1 and revegetated with Bittergrass, Mountain mahogany,
Rabbit brush, Indian ricegrase and sand dropseed. This is to be done
during phase 5 0£ the mining plan and approximately 13 acres will be
reclaimed during this phase.
Year Seventeen thru Twenty One
• Areas VII, X, XI and XII will be backfilled to a depth of 2' to 15'.
Areas D, E, F and G will be leveled, coutoured and revE~getated with
Bittergrass, Mountain mahogany, Rabbit brush, Indian ricegrase and
sand dropseed. The upper areas will again be void of overburden as
previously discussed. Area VII and the upper protions of X will be
leveled and coutoured. Overburden will extend from 50' to 100' from
