provides uniform, gentle alopea which will eliminate the
' concentration of runoff and will alleviate previously exper-
ienced erroeion problems at the site. The gentle 3 hori-
zontal to 1 vertical aide alopea will allow all runoff to
flow uniformly away from the embanl~eat and either to the
south collection ditch, where it will be directly routed to
the sedimentation pond located west of the refuse disposal
embanlonent or directly to the sedimentation pond. Because
the sedimentation pond and ditches were initially designed
for a refuse diapoeal facility similar is size and configura-
tion to that presented herein, no modifications to the drain-
age control system other than those described above are
contemplated by this revision.
The entire rock uaderdrain contained in the initial design
was installed by the previous operator. All reiuae material will be
placed in lifts no greater than 2 feet in vertical thickness
and will be compacted to at least 90 percent of the maximum
dry density ae determined by previous tenting of the refuse
material.
