Adams County <br />Dear Ms. Wilkins: <br />This letter is in response to your application for a substitute water supGlV plan for the <br />Fulton Lakes Pit in accordance with Section §37.80.120, C.R.S. The recuired }sea of <br />31,343 for the substitute water supply plan and 560 for the wall permit appilcatlon have <br />been submitted. <br />The anticipated net depletion tar this plan is 85.98 acre-feet per year for up to 15 <br />acres of lake surface exposed after December 31, 1980. According to the intormatidn <br />submitted no water surface was expcsed witnin the reclamation permit boundary prior to <br />January 1, 1981. <br />You have provided a monthly Breakdown of ;ha annual depletions totaling 39.83 <br />acre-feet of e•:apcrat:ve less, 2.0 acre-feet of water used and consumed far dust control, <br />and 44,15 acre-feet of water lost with the mined product. <br />The proposec sources of replacement for this pit are hlstonc net stream depletions <br />from the dry-up of land historically irrigated with 29 shares of Fulton Ditch shares and a <br />50.39 sore-feet per year attributable to perpetual lease from the City of Westminster <br />lincluding transit laeseel. The historic acreage was located et the current mina location. The <br />monthly depletions and replacement requirements are found on the attaches table. No <br />phreataphyte credit has been applied t0 this plan. <br />As required by Senate Bill 89-120 in Section 8. this substitute wafer supply plan has <br />been provided to an outside consultant far review .
