These sites have not been evaluated in terms of the State
or National Register of Historic Places. It also appears that no cultural
resource surveys have been undertaken at the pit location. Therefore, if.
this area has not been previously disturbed, we recommend that a cultural
resource survey be undertaken to determine if eligible sites will be
affected by project activities. This is done in accordance with the
Colorado Register of Historic Places Act (24-80.1).
If we may be of further assistance please contact Jim Green at 866-4674.
Sincerely,
~ ~~~ ~~-
,J,,,, James E.
