The responses utilize the same numbering system as used in the review <br />comments. <br />1. The area mined in Area "A" will be backfilled and graded with overburden material <br />stockpiled from Area "A" and supplemented with excess overburden from Areas "B" and <br />"C". Final reclamation of Area "A" will not occur until all activities governed by the DMG <br />permit have ceased. A revised Exhibit D is attached with a more detailed explanation. <br />2. Exhibit C has been revised to reflect approximate locations of overburden and topsoil <br />stockpiles. A revised Exhibit "C" is attached. <br />3. The seed mix identified in Exhibit "E" has been included on the mining maps to be used in <br />seeding the berms and stockpiles. <br />4. The statement recommended by the DMG has been included in the revised Exhibit D. <br />5. Exhibits "D" and "E" have been revised to clarify the mining and reclamation process. <br />Exhibit "L" has been revised to reflect correct quantities for the reclamation process. <br />6. The quantities listed in Exhibit L were reviewed. Revisions were made to the categories of <br />topsoil and seeding. A revised Exhibit L is attached. <br />7. Elam Construction was left off of Exhibit O because they are partners in Ephemeral <br />Resources. Following is a statement describing the Ephemeral Resources partnership. <br />Ephemeral Resources, LLC is an entity owned 50-50 by High Plains Properties, LLC <br />and Alluvial Resources, LLC. Ephemeral Resources was created for the soul purpose <br />of purchasing the D Road Property and operating it as a gravel pit. High Plains, LLC <br />is affiliated with Elam Construction, Inc. through common ownership and Alluvial <br />Resources; LLC is affiliated with Whitewater Building Materials, Inc. through common <br />ownership. <br />8. Attached are landscape drawings that were submitted to the City of Grand Junction and <br />approved as part of the Conditional Use Permit Process. <br />
