• MINE MAPS <br />1. Three (3) Copies of the certified mine map and revisions and <br />supplements will be submitted at six-month intervals to the <br />District Manager. The map submitted will be an up-to-date, <br />accurately detailed map on a scale not less than 100 or greater <br />than 500 feet to the inch. <br />2. Mine maps (transparencies) will be coded with symbols provided <br />in a detailed legend on every map, The maps (transparencies) <br />will show the map scale; North orientation; coal seam dip and <br />strike; property boundaries; underground workings adjacent, <br />above, or below the mine; locations of active or abandoned oil <br />or gas wells; location of all surface fans complete with oper- <br />ating data; surface mine openings; abnormal geological condi- <br />tions; projected working for at least one year; direction and <br />volume of air at each surface mine opening; all underground <br />• workings with active workings delineated; locations of all <br />stoppings, overcasts, regulators, seals, and man doors; direc- <br />tion antl volumes of air at major air splits; required air velo- <br />cities in working faces and belt haulageways and average entry <br />height in conveyor belt haulageways; abandoned areas and areas <br />from which pillars have been wholly or partially removed, <br />bleeder systems; escapeways; exploration drill holes; and sur- <br />vey stations with coordinates and elevations. <br />3.
