• versus flow for NPDES site 017. The limited 2000 data for site 017 is similar to the limited
data obtained at this site.
Conductivity of water for site S-1 had been fairly steady with time (Figure C-23).
The average data for the last four years are less than the average for the previous period
for the S-1 site. TDS, conductivity and major rnnstituents tend to increase as the ground-
water contribution becomes a larger portion of the flow. The values, in general, are within
natural ranges but some increase over baseline has likely occurred at NPDES sites 001 and
011. No long-term trends are indicated by the major constituents except for NPDES site
001, which is presently increasing with time.
5.3 OTHER CONSTITUENTS
• Field pH values for. all sites were very similar in 2000 to previous data. Values
typically ranged from near neutral to 9 for pH values at NPDES site 001. Other
constituents analyzed showed little change with all minor constituents within their natural
ranges. All values addressed in this report above permitted discharge levels have been
addressed in the quarterly NPDES discharge reports (DMR's) and justifications for those
values, i.e. storm water, snow cover melt-out, etc., have been submitted to the proper
regulatory authorities. The iron concentrations observed in 2000 in the surface water for
this readily available constituent were lower than normal due to the low flow rates.

5-3
