<br />The main features ofthis project are a series ofsurface rnirres, including the main Cresson Mine, the East Cresson Mine, the
<br />North Cresson Mine, and the South Cresson Mine; the Cresson Valley Leach Facility (VLF'), which has been constructed
<br />over the upper,4requa Gulch drainage chamrel; the Adsorption, Desorption, Recovery (precious metals recovery) Facih'ty;
<br />the Arequa Gulch Overburden Storage Area, which has been constructed upstream of the VLF; and the Squaw Gulch
<br />Overburden Storage Area, located in the headwaters of Squaw Gulch. The location of the mining operation is shown in
<br />Figures 1 and 2 of the permit.
