RE: Joker Mine and Pilot Plant Permit Application, File No. 83-52
Dear Mr. Sanders:
The Division appreciates your timely response to our letter of May 3, 1983.
On receiving your responses, a couple areas of concern to the Division
still remain. Please address the following issues prior to the May
\Board meeting.
I� Proof of publication is still needed from the United States government,
an adjacent landowner.
It was mentioned that the access road to the site will be upgraded .
Any construction of new roads or the upgrading of mine access roads
must be included as affected acreage and be permitted. Currently,
only a section of the mine access road is permitted. Please give
the length and width dimensions of that part of the mine access road
from Moffat County Road 17 to the mine site that is not permitted
and include this acreage as affected acreage and permitted.
The Division was unclear on the location of areas C and F and how
water will be reduced in area C to alleviate erosion potential of
the fine reject material . After the phone conversation on May 17, 1983,
the Division is of the following belief:
Area C, fine reject material temporary stockpile, is located in
the "middle dam area". y��
