The <br />$1rLd.C1PIl: This site is native rangeland and class if red as a <br />Loamy Plains range site; cattle are currently grazing the area. <br />There are signs of prey+ious disturbance around the windmill that <br />lies east of the abandoned house at Todd Point and at t,vo cut <br />banks north of the ~.vindruill. The site slopes to the east a5 <br />evidenced by the recent runoff of two drainages througf'r the site. <br />&Sl].l:i: This site consists of Baca loam soil, map symbol BcA, <br />Baca soils arc deep, well drained, and nearly level loamy soils. <br />Land classification is IVe-1. <br />Y£S£i3f].^.II: The potential plant community on this site is 80-90'.~> <br />grasses, 5-1~~'/• fortis, and 5-10`/ shrubs air-dry weight. Plants <br />presently groe•ring include galleta, blue grama, red threeawn, sand <br />dropseed, broom snal<eweed, slirnflower scurfpea, rabbitbrush, <br />prickly pear cartes, yucca, and feurwing =_altbush. <br />BECLr3M9I10l~ : <br />It should be noted that once gravel mining is initiated, a1T <br />disturbed a,'eas must be reclaimed whether you disturb the area or <br />not. <br />fi1f£_.L'L£Pr]YHti9n: P.eclarnation of the pit should be made try <br />srnoolhing all banks to no more than 2:1 slopes and should be <br />flatter where feasible and practicable. The topography should be <br />made smooth with no spoil piles er pits present. <br />I22SS!.ll.lll9: Topsoil should be spread uniformly over any <br />disturbed area to a pact<ed depth of 6". This should be increased <br />to 8" - 10" over e::posed bedrock. In the event that e::isting <br />soils have insufficient depth, topsoil shall be brought in and <br />spread over the deficient areas, <br />
