Doerfer
RE: Review of Second Adequacy Response, Hunter-Bates Mine,
Central City Consolidated Mining Corp., File No. M-90-041
I have reviewed the responses received on June 18, 1990 from MinSearch on the
above-referenced application. The responses to Items 2 and 3 on disposal of
ashed peat and water rights have been fully addressed. The response to Item 1
commits to providing us notice but does not acknowledge the requirement for
submitting a technical revision. As such, I would recommend approval of the
application with the following stipulation:
Stipulation No. 1
If reagents to be used are different from those listed in the permit
application under Item 11 of the mine plan, the operator will submit a
Technical Revision which describes the method and reagents chosen for
pyrite recovery in the final clean-up step of the ore processing.
JTD/yj b
cc: Bruce Humphries
Steve Renner
8160E
