<br />` (d) The licensee shall notify the District Manager and the Area Manager prior to the <br />time drilling commences on the license. <br />(e) If any drill holes produce more vater than can contained by the pits, the <br />licensee shall notify the District Manager and the Area Manager. <br />(f) During periods of adverse conditions because of climatic factors such as <br />thawing, heavy rains, snow, or flooding, all activities off existing maintained roads <br />that create excessive surface rutting, shall be suspended. When adverse conditions <br />exist, the operator shall contact the Area Manager for an evaluation and decision <br />(dependent upon soils type, slope, vegetation, cover). <br />(g) Any plan to complete drill hole(s) as hydrologic monitoring wells is considered <br />to be a modification to the exploration plan and must be approved in advance by the <br />District Manager. <br />(h) The licensee shall complete reclamation. measures in the same calendar year in <br />which surface disturbance occurs, excluding any roads constructed that are necessary for <br />access to other sites to be drilled after October 1 in any year. Reclamation measures <br />shall include, but not be limited to, recontouring, replacing topsoil, scattering brush <br />piles, and reseeding. Any deviation from the reclamation schedule must be authorized by <br />the District Manager. <br />(i) Unless otherwise authorized, all drill holes shall be plugged with cement from <br />at least 50 feet below to 50 feet above all aquifers and underground minable coal beds, <br />and a cement surface plug shall be set. Item A illustrates the minimum requirements fog <br />plugging drill hales. All drill holes shall be plugged as contemporaneously as possible <br />with their drilling. <br />(j) One copy of drill hole data and related reports must be submitted to the <br />District Manager within 30 days after the calendar year. The requirements for submission <br />of drilling and abandonment information are given to the licensee herewith as Item B. <br />The licensee's location map must show access trail locations and exact hole locations <br />appropriately identified by number or letter.
