For more detail on the power drop locations, see Section 18 of <br />• this Exhibit. <br />As shown on map C-1, an existing telephone pole is located neaz the center of the proposed waste <br />embankment expansion. A solaz-powered radio is located on this pole, which provides telephone <br />service to the mine. The pole is not owned by a utility company. Energy Fuels will remove the pole <br />and relocate the radio receiver prior to the waste pile expansion into this area. This will not occur for <br />at least two years after mine startup. <br />Water for bathrooms, showers, and other general uses will be hauled to the site from neazby, <br />privately owned springs or wells. The mine will supply bottled water for drinking purposes. A septic <br />system will be installed in accordance with state and county requirements near the mine offices and <br />dry change facilities. <br />The main building, which includes the maintenance shop, wazehouse, mine offices, and dry change <br />facilities will be heated using propane; the propane tank will be located next to the building. The <br />• water treatment trailer will be equipped with an electrical heater for use during the colder months. A <br />portable propane heating system may also be used at the Packrat maintenance shop during the winter. <br />14. Solid Waste Storage <br />A roll off container for disposal of trash will be located next to the maintenance shop and <br />warehouse. A second roll offmay be located on top of the Whirlwind pad neaz the storage area and <br />smaller trash barrels will be located in the shop azeas. The trash will be picked up on a routine basis <br />by a service company and disposed of at an approved landfill. No landfills will be constructed on <br />site. Scrap metal will be stored in a bin and/or on pallets neaz the shop until it can be picked up for <br />recycling.
