• 2.05.6
(3)(b)(v) Hydrologic Reclamation Plan
The adverse hydrologic consequences identified in the probable hydrologic
consequences determination prepared based upon Section 2.05.6(3)(b)(iv)
include possible impacts to:
1) Surface streams
2) Ground water
3) Springs
4) Stockponds
No hydrologic reclamation plan is proposed for the ephemeral streams other
than construction of sediment ponds in Gulches B & C to contain the run-off
from the disturbed area. The ephemeral drainages should not be
significantly affected by mine subsidence.
A hydrologic reclamation plan for the surface streams, ground water, springs
and stockponds is presented in Volume III, Exhibit 15 in the subsidence
handbook section. The Operator has made a commitment to the BLM to
mitigate any water loss associated with unadjudicated water sources if the
water resource has a "high value" as determined by either the BLM or the
USFS. Loss of a water source may be mitigated by repair, replacing lost
water or offsite mitigation.
No hydrologic reclamation plan is proposed for potential mine drainage. As
long as mine drainage is discharged incompliance with the requirements of
a NPDES discharge permit, no further treatment or action should be
required.
(3)(b)(vi)
Locations
The location of each water diversion, collection, conveyance, treatment,
storage and discharge facility is presented on Maps 21-1 and 21-2 Drainage
Plans.
L
PR-04 2.05 - 87 - 10/00
