Include the use of trucks for material haul. We enclose
our agreement with the Weld County Road and Bridge
Department for your review. Our truck trips per day will
be quite variable, but in the event of a large C.D.O.T.
paving project, for example, we could experience up to 100
loaded trips per day, albeit for a short duration. Under
normal circumstances, we expect up to 30 trucks per day. We
request that you revise condition #6 to include this activity.
2. Include the use of a sedan-grass or similar cover-crop for
the backfilled areas. Our experience with dry-land seed mix
this past season was a failure. The local soil conservation
office informs that if a cover crop is planted in June of
every year, a grass mix (regulated by the Colorado Department
of Natural resources, M.L.R.D.; copy attached) can then be
planted in November. We ask that you reconsider item #5 in
the permit conditions to include this concept.
