Will evaporation losses be augmented? <br /> <br />Since areas adjacent to the resultant pits are projected for development <br />we suggest that all pit banks be sloped as follows: 3:1 to shoreline, <br />5:1 to a depth of four feet and 2:1 thereafter. This will provide that <br />margin of safety necessary to reduce the possibility of drowning and other <br />water-related accidents.
