• EXHIBIT 19 - Continued
The fourth test, performed by CYCC personnel on October 11, 1979,
was a drawdown test of the entire saturated thickness of Che overburden
aquifer (75 feet) in the vicinity of the inactive Middle Creek Under-
ground Mine. Drawdown was measured in an observation well 190 feet from
the pumped well, OS-79-6. Drawdown data from the observation well is
plotted on Figure 4, well 08-79-7, of this exhibit. Transmissivity, per-
meability and storage coefficient were computed using curve-matching
methods (Lohman, 1972) to be 257.0 gpd/ft., 3.4 gpd/ft.2, and 1.12 x 10-
5, respectively. The transmissivity and permeability values approximate
those computed from the test well on 08-77-58. The storage coefficient
indicates artesian conditions exist, which is confirmed by artesian water
• levels in monitor wells in the permit area. Therefore, the values ob-
tained in this test are considered most representative of the overburden
aquifer in the permit area.
•
