TRAFFIC <br />The operator expects the average traffic load during <br />J peak periods to be approximately as estimated below: <br />10 aggregate trucks making six <br />round trips per day each 60 RT/day <br />10 concrete mixer trucks making <br />5 round trips per day each 50 RT/day <br />Other vehicles, 20 round <br />trips per day each 20 RT/day <br />Total daily trips during <br />peak times 130 RT/day <br />Preliminary plans for access to I-70 have been prepared <br />by the Colorado Highway Department. Exit 94 (so designated <br />on the latest C.H.D. Travel Map) would open to traffic at the <br />overpass near the west end of the affected land. Traffic <br />' could move either east or west on I-70, but it is expected <br />that the larger percentage of traffic would move west. Until <br />] Exit 94 is opened, traffic from the pit will have to use <br />~ county roads on the south side of I-70 to reach exits at <br />either Rifle or Silt. <br />-53- <br />
