Pemd Na co0soooc I <br /> <br />CDFS GENERAL PERMIT <br />F,DR SAND AND GRAVEL MINING AND PROCESSING <br />(AND OTHER NONMETALLIC MINERALS EXCEPT FUEL) <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMII SYSTEM <br />Incompliance with the provisions ofthe Colorado Water QualityControl Act, (25-8-101 et uq., CRS,1973 as amended) and the Federal WaterPollutio <br />Control Act, as amrnded (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.; the "Act"), this permit authorizes the dischazge of process water and stormwater associated will <br />operations engaged in mining and processing of sand and gmvel (including rock and stone used as aggregate), and mining and quarrying of othe <br />nonmetallic minerals except fuels, certified under this permit, from those locations specified throughout the State of Colorado to specified waters oftlu <br />Slate. Such discharges sha}l be in accordmree with the conditions of this permit. . <br />This permit specifically authorizes the facility listed on page 1 of this permit to discharge process water and/or stormwazer associated with operation <br />engaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and stone used as aggregate), and mining and quarrying of other nonmetaiti~ <br />minerals except fuels, as of this date, in accordance with the permit tequiremrnts and conditions set forth in Parts I and Q hereof. All discharge <br />authorized herein shall be consistent with the terms and conditions of this pemtit. <br />Any patty may demand an adjudicatory hearing within thirty (30) days of the issuapce of this general permit determination, per the Coloaadt <br />Discharge Permit System Regulations, Regulation No. 61(5 CCR 1002-61). Should the applicant choose to contest anyofthe e@luent limitatiops <br />monitoring requirements of other conditions contained herein, the applicant ttarst comply with Section 24-4-104 CRS and the Colorado Discharge <br />Permit System Reguhttioat.
