Long <br />RE: Public Heazing on Siloam Stone's Bedrock Mine; Permit No. M-97-086 D~~~s~~ti Director <br />Dear Mr. Dyjak: <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board will be conducting a Formal Public Hearing on <br />February 25, 1998 beginning at 11:00 a.m. The heazing will be held in Denver, Colorado at the <br />Centennial Building, which is located at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318. The heazing is being <br />conducted to consider objections to StafFs recommended approval, with conditions, of Permit <br />Application M-97-086 also known as the Bedrock Mine. <br />Although many letters of objection were received afrer expiration of the public comment period, <br />and aze therefore not parties to the Formal Public Heazing ,these objectors will be given an <br />opportunity to address the Board during the heazing. It may be preferable, given the limited time <br />(15 minutes) available for the public comment period, to have one or two speakers address the <br />Board with a collective summary of concerns. <br />Attached to this letter is a copy of the procedure that will be used to conduct the meeting. <br />If you have any questions about the hearing, procedures, or any item of concern about the <br />Bedrock Mine, please contact me at (303) 866-3567. <br />Sincerely, <br />~ J~~-- <br />Anthony J.
