We do this to be in compliance with state and feder-
al laws (sections 34-32-115(4)(C) and 34-32-109(5), C.R.S. 1984,
as amended). We are aware oP Senate Bill 120 and the need for
well permits including substitute supply plans and augmentation
plans for sand and gravel pits.
It is our intention to Pile for a mining permit with the Depart-
ment of Natural Resources and simultaneously file for a well
permit with the State Engineer. We propose to use shares of the
Pioneer Water and Irrigation Co. for a substitute supply and
subsequently file Por a permanent augmentation plan in District I
Water Court. Based on this information, will you send us the
proper application forms and the current rules for temporary
supply plans.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter and your reply
will be appreciated.
Yours truly,
~'' _ _ "
Jim F.
