• RECLAMATION PLAN
The reclamation plan proposed for the flood control dike is to leave it
in place at the Bear No. 3 mine facilities site.
Bear Coal Company plans to mulch and seed the eastward facing slope of
the dike this fall (1985). The riverside slope has been adequately
riprapped to ensure long-term integrity.
Meetings will be scheduled with the Gunnison County Planning Commission
to involve them in the final decision regarding the flood control dike.
Once their input is received, this information will be passed along to
the Division.
