May 6, 1999
State of Colorado
Mine and Land Reclamation Board
Division of Minerals and Geology
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street,Room 215
Denver, CO 81052
RE: Rother Pit#1
Dear Board:
Please be advised that in reference to the Cheyenne County-Harold Rother Lease, it is the desire of both
parties for Cheyenne County not to reclaim the access road upon the successful operation and mining of
sand, gravel and rock from pit number ; instead, enclosed please find a proposed Addendum to Lease
and Agreement which shows that is the desire of both parties to allow Mr. Rother to retain said roadway in
use of his agricultural and ranching needs upon said property.
Accordingly, we would respectfully request consideration being granted to Cheyenne County that the
access road on the Rother pit not be re-seeded and reclaimed at the termination of said lease.
Please advise should you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely yours, Q
Harold Rother
