The decision date for your application is scheduled for August 2, 1999. Therefore, I <br />would appreciate a response from you on or before August 2, ]999. Upon your request, the <br />decision date may be extended is additional time is needed to respond to the comments listed <br />below. Please be advised that your application may be deemed inadequate and may be denied on <br />August 2, 1999 unless the following adequacy review items aze addressed to the satisfaction of <br />the Division. <br />1. EXHIBIT A -Site Plan Map <br />Please revise.the site plan map to:include the names of all immediately adjacent sLlrface owners. <br />of record. . <br />2. EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan <br />As required by Rule 6.3.3(d). please specify the thickness of deposit to be mined. If unkown, you <br />may provide a range of thickness to be removed. Also, you may specify whether only one (1) <br />layer or several or more layers of sandstone will be removed. <br />3. EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan <br />As required by Rule 6.3.3(f), please specify the dimensions of any significant disturbances to the <br />land surface such as pit. excavations, mine benches, stockpiles, staging areas, waste rock disposal <br />areas, etc. In particular, you should describe the dimensions (width & height) of existing pits to <br />be re-disturbed and the dimensions to be expected upon maximum pit disturbance. Attached is <br />an example provided from a recently permitted, similaz quarry operation. <br />4. EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan <br />As required by Rule 6.3.3(m), please specify whether the sandstone will be processed on site, ie: <br />will the sandstone be cut, sorted, or stacked on site? <br />
