Arliona 86001 <br />(602) 77a-5257 <br />Enclosed please find two (2) copies of the application <br />form and revised pages and exhibits to support a request <br />for Technical Revision No. 12 to the Seneca lI Mine and <br />Reclamation Plan (Permit No. C-80-005). This request for <br />revision is to add 61.6 acres to the Seneca II Permit area <br />and to construct Sediment Pond No. 008. <br />As you are aware, the surface being added to tfre permit <br />• area is owned by the State of Colorado with a mineral <br />lease held by Yampa Valley Coal Corporation. Attached to <br />this letter is a copy of the Application for Lease of <br />State Land as submitted to the State Board of Land <br />Commissioners, as well as a letter from Yampa Valley Coal <br />Corporation stating that the proposed pond has no serious <br />impact to YVCC planned mining operations. It is <br />anticipated tflat the State Board of Land Colnnissiuners <br />will be acting affirmatively on our request for lease of <br />state {ands in the very near future. <br />The package of revised pages and maps are separated by tab <br />arrd is designed to be inserted directly into the Seneca II <br />Permit Application Package (PAP), with some existing pages <br />and exhibits being replaced with revised material.
