SHELTON, Director , <br />February 27, 1987 <br />Peabody Coal Co <br />1300 South Yale <br />Flagstaff, AZ 86001 <br />Re: Technical Revision to temporary mine sequence change at the Seneca II <br />t4ine (Our File No. C-80-005) <br />Dear ~tvk. <br />We have received your technical revision application to revise your permit <br />(File llo. C-80-005) to conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial review <br />Indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal <br />t4lning Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq., have been submitted; thus <br />your technical revision application has been~emed complete for the purposes <br />of filing on the above date. All review and comment periods as provided in <br />the Act and Regulation promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of <br />• filing. <br />A copy of the technical revision application, less any confidential <br />information, must be filed for public inspection with the Routt County <br />Planner's Office. Any subsequent changes or additions must also be made in <br />this copy. <br />Unless notification to the contrary accompanies this letter, the proposed <br />newspaper advertisement submitted with the application has been found to be <br />satisfactory. You should commence publication of this advertisement .1s <br />specified in Rule 2.01.3.(2) of the Regulations. Proof of the publication of <br />the advertisement must be filed with the Division as soon as available after <br />the publication date. <br />The staff 1s currently reviewing your technical revision application to <br />determine whether the items you have submitted are adequate in terms of <br />meeting the requirements for purposes of adequacy. You will be notified as to <br />the Division's findings of adequacy or inadequacy of your revision <br />application.
