The first
portion of this proposed revision addresses comments submitted to
Peabody Coal Company in your April 4, 1984 letter regarding CMLR's
Seneca II Mid Term Permit Review. All of the questions have been
answered individually (see attached). Some of the questions have been
answered by previous revisions and other responses lend themselves
to be inserted into the permit application as part of this revision.
The second part of this proposed revision deals with a proposed haul
road in the Wadge coal seam area. Construction of this road (E7A)
will virtually eliminate the need for much of existing road E4. This
will result in the reclamation of E4 earlier than originally estimated.
Road E7A will be constructed as described in Tab 12, p. 12-20, of the
existing permit application. All, necessary, additional information is
attached to this request. It should be pointed out that the attached
exhibits do not reflect both the Wadge and Wolf Creek Mine Plan Revisions.
After approval of the Wolf Creek Revision, information will be combined
to reflect one mining and reclamation plan on the same map(s). This will
be in the form of another revision.
•
