I
Pond 002's disturbance area will increase as the Wolf Creek pit advances
over the life-of-the-pit; however, reclamation will also advance as the
disturbance advances. The disturbance area will be moving away to the
• southeast, approximately 8,800 feet from the pondin9 area.
Pond 003's disturbance area will approximately remain the same for the
life-of-the-mine. The primary disturbance area will be the mine's
facilities area.
Pond 004's disturbance area will be decreasing over the life-of-the-pit.
All of the recoverable coal has been removed from the watershed. The
watershed is primarily reclaimed and no new disturbance is anticipated at
this time.
Pond 008's disturbance area will increase slightly; however, reclamation
will also advance as the disturbance advances. In addition, the open pit
and spoil area will trap sediment which would otherwise collect in the
pond.
3.
